About a month ago I asked you what an algorithm is as a warm up question.  I’m asking the question again, but you don’t have to answer the question in the comments.  Instead, watch this short video on a computer dating algorithm

Watching some of you take the final, and judging by some of the scores, I have a sneaking suspicion that many of you simply guessed–not everyone, but many.

metric vs. standard measurement

The metric system uses the units meters for distance, grams for mass, and liters.  It is used everywhere but the United States.

In the United States we usually use the standard system.  You’re likely familiar with using feet as units for distance, pounds as units for mass, and gallons as units for volume.
